What is Liver Disease (Hepatic Disease)? Liver diseases include conditions such as infection, vascular abnormalities, biliary obstruction, tumors, toxins, and endocrine disease. Using advanced diagnostic technology, liver disease can be diagnosed and treated more effectively than ever before.

  • What are the signs of liver disease? Liver disease has many symptoms including vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, water intake, chronic weight loss, seizures, and/or yellow gums and eyes.
  • How is liver disease diagnosed? A complete liver profile at our diagnostic hospital can include blood analysis, ultrasound examination, ultrasound-guided needle biopsy, X-rays, laparoscopy, angiography, and bacterial cultures.
  • How is liver disease treated? Hepatic therapy, depending on the type & severity of the disease treatment involves hopsitalization, I.V. fluid therapy, feeding tubes, medications, diet & sometimes surgery.
